About The Artist

I am a self-taught artist working mainly in watercolor painting and collage.  I received a BA in political science from GW and an MA in Russian Studies from Harvard.   After working in London and Moscow as a management consultant with Price Waterhouse and Deloitte & Touche, I moved to back to DC.   Shortly thereafter, I moved to Bermuda, where I began to create collages.   After returning once again to DC, I started showing my work in 2001 and have since exhibited in a number of venues, including:

  • Wilson Building (City Hall) Art Collection
  • William W. Parker Gallery, DC
  • Meridian International Center
  • Children’s National Medical Center
  • National Institutes of Health
  • Maker Faire, NYC
  • William W. Parker Gallery
  • Gallery Frame Avenue, Bethesda
  • Artomatic 2002, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2009
  • Artfest at Annmarie Garden
  • Bethesda Fine Arts Festival
  • Artscape, Baltimore

In addition to creating and exhibiting art, I have been active in organizing arts events in the DC area, including serving on the Steering Committee and Board of Directors of Artomatic.  I was the director of Adams Morgan’s Arts on Belmont for three years and the director of Georgetown Arts 2009 and 2011.
